Le point F est à l’origine la formalisation d’une utopie, le «village retrouvé» – lieu de rencontre entre ingénierie et industrie - qui a partiellement échoué. Aujourd’hui désaffecté, il apparaît abandonné à une cause perdue. Pour lui redonner vie il convient de le rouvrir visuellement et programmatiquement au gré d’appropriations ponctuelles, jamais définitives.

Nous avons tenté de définir l’espace autrement que par sa fonction et par là même éviter son obsolescence. Les différentes unités sont observées pour leur qualité spatiale, leur rapport à l’extérieur, leur capacité d’exploitation avant de leur trouver une attribution.

Point F is originally the formalization of a utopia, the "rediscovered village" - a meeting place between engineering and industry - which has partially failed. Now disaffected, it appears abandoned to a lost cause. To bring it back to life, it proposed to be reopened visually and programmatically according to its given appropriations that will never be definitive.

We have tried to define space not solely by its function in order to avoid its obsolescence. The different units were studied for their spatial quality, their relation to their surroundings, and their exploitation capacity before attributing them.
