Le projet vise à opérer une synthèse de l’ensemble des contraintes urbaines, environnementales, programmatiques, d’accessibilité et de sécurité, sans hiérarchie et comme autant de contributions à l’esthétique et au confort du bâtiment.

Chaque élément fonctionnel est traité de telle sorte qu’il en magnifie l’usage et en premier lieu, l’isolation extérieure qui offre l’opportunité de réaliser un nouveau parement en applique et d’opérer une transformation radicale de la façade tout en s’inscrivant dans l’histoire du quartier.

The project is aiming to achieve a synthesis of urban, environmental, programmatic, accessibility, health and safety constraints in a non-hierarchical manner and protecting the aesthetics and comfort of the building.

Each functional element is dealt with in such a way that it magnifies the function itself. First and foremost, the external insulation which provided an opportunity to create a new facing and so radically transform the façade whilst remaining fully in tune with the quarter’s history.
